SunShield 100 limited use coveralls from Sunrise Industries have been designed to offer the same functionality and barrier holdout as the DuPont Tychem QC range, but at a lower cost.
Strong: SunShield 100 fabric is created by spin-binding a continuous filament of polypropylene, resulting in a non-woven material with innate barrier protection and a high tensile strength in all directions. This is then coated with a unique polyethylene barrier film to give the material enhanced chemical protection and help it resist abrasions.
Protective: SunShield 100 coveralls offer barrier protection against a range of chemical challenges. They provide excellent dry particulate holdout and reliable protection against chemical and liquid splashes, and are chemically inert.
Taped Seams: These taped seams use heat-sealing to attach strips of SunShield 100 fabric over the sewn edges of material to create a totally impervious seam. This provides strong chemical protection against heavier splashes and gives maximum protection against contamination from infectious fluids. Also known as sealed seams.
Attached hood: These SunShield 100 coveralls feature a respirator-fit hood, allowing the wearer to equip themselves suitably for care of infectious patients.
Attached boots: These coveralls include attached heavy-duty non-slip boots, which provide skid resistance to maximise safety for the wearer.
Easy-to-wear: SunShield 100 coveralls have elasticated wrists for a secure fit. They also feature a storm flap over the front zipper, offering increased protection from contamination.
High visibility: These SunShield 100 coveralls are available in yellow for high visibility, particularly against natural backgrounds.
