The GE Vscan Extend R2 Dual Probe Ultrasound Scanner provides accurate and high-precision ultrasound imaging data of a patient. Vscan Extend R2 is a palm-sized ultrasound system, accompanied by a control-and-display module, that is designed to enable fast patient assessments. This system’s robust design makes it suitable for patient monitoring in most environments including hospitals and homes.
Adaptable and Easy-to-use: This primary care ultrasound system offers great ease to health care providers with its utilitarian design and configurability. Dual probe technology enables effortless scanning without switching probes between or during exams. It is designed to help you see more detail with no compromise on image quality – either deep in the body or just below the skin. Vscan Extend R2’s dual probe uses SignalMax technology, which means each side of the probe is tailor-made for the task for which it is designed.
Flexible Data Flow: Proprietary algorithms synthesize patient data and enable fast assessments and confident decisions. The transfer of data from the scanner to the display module is seamless. Vscan Extend R2 is capable of providing assistance with a number of medical procedures and conditions. All the data can be easily stored and tracked to help medical personnel follow the patients’ response to therapy.
Precision Assessment Applications: The two transducers, present at each end of the scanner allow for a wide variety of scanning applications. These two transducers provide a crisp and clear image of the target area, facilitating critical procedures like cardiac assessment, perioperative care, tendon, muscle and joint assessment, pediatric assessment and neonatal care. An optional LVivo EF app also enables automated ejection fraction measurement.
