Reliable Construction for Healing. Composed of Copolymer of glycolic acid and trimethylene carbonate, the V-Loc™ 180 Absorbable Wound Closure Reload Sutures are braided with a green dyed color. It has a unique barb and loop design that accelerates closure by removing the need to tie any knots which saves 35-42% of the intracorporeal suturing time. The Sutures reduces the challenge of maintaining the adequate tension of the suture strength. This device is great for soft tissue approximation where absorbable sutures are appropriate.
Simple to Use. By combining the knotless suturing device with automated needle-passing technology, the V-Loc™ 180 Absorbable Wound Closure Reload Sutures is easy to operate and easy to approximate wound edges as the tissues remain together. The One-handed auto suturing device can be operated, even in tight spaces, without problems. It has an absorption profile of 180 days and tensile strength at 7 days, 80%; 14 days, 75% and 21 days, 65%.
