It has a 30-hour battery life, requires only 4 hours of recharge time, and has a 70-hour memory. It has a MRI compatibility rating of 3.0 tesla. It can be used in a variety of settings, from acute care to home care and for a variety of uses; spot checks, continuous monitoring or patient transport.
The Pulse Oximeter for MRI has a bright LED display and a large display screen for easy readability of SpO2 and pulse rate. It has a user-friendly interface with various indicators. It has a Pulse Strength Bar Graph, Pulse Quality Indicator, and a Sensor Fault Indicator which indicates when something fails, is misaligned, disconnected, or incompatible with the monitor. It has an audible alarm with Patient Security Mode for locking settings to prevent unintentional changes, a Recall Function, and a User-Defined Defaults function.
The Oximeter has a pole mount system (not included) which ensures secure monitor placement. It is compatible with nVISION data management and Profox software. Its dimensions are 8.6" W x 3.6" H x 5.6" D and it weighs 2 lbs. It is made in the USA, is FDA approved, and comes with a 3 year warranty. It comes with a 7.2v NiMH Battery Pack, a Power Supply with Cord, and an Instructions Manual on CD.
The Pulse Oximeter can be used with a choice of sensors; the 20-foot PureLight® Adult/Pediatric Fiber Optic Sensor, the 30-foot Adult/Pediatric F. O. Sensor, the 20-foot Infant/Pediatric F. O. Sensor, or the 30-foot Infant/Pediatric F. O. Sensor. The sensors are not included.
