It's made with a single piece foam "U" core, a design that facilitates resident transfer thanks to its side-wall support. This also makes for a stronger, more durable mattress than foam mattresses that use glued sections. The premium HR foam used is cut into mushroom-shaped cells, which provides pressure redistribution and top-of-the-line patient immersion.
The Softform Premier Mattress reduces the possibility of fluid ingress with a concealed zipper and the included fluid-resistant stretch polyurethane cover. This cover is fully and easily removable, making cleaning and inspection a simple task. High frequency welded seams top off the features list for this mattress.
