Modern braiding technique ensures that suture surface is smooth, for better penetration and reduced tissue trauma. They are equivalent to PERMA-HAND™ Silk and Covidien SofSilk™.
LOOK™ Silk Sutures are available in black, in various sizes and suture lengths. Size 3-0 is for closure of muscle layers or bowel repair. Size 6-0 is used in vascular graft sewing. These sutures feature Precision Reverse Cutting needles, which feature a triangular point with cutting edge on the outer curvature. Needles are honed for added sharpness. They are typically used in plastic surgery for delicate procedures and where a good cosmetic result is desired. Available in 12 per box. All sutures are packaged in a sterile, double pouch for sterile transfer.
