The Riester Ri-former® Integrated Wall Diagnostic Unit with a choice of Aneroid or automated BPM is a versatile modular system that allows for a combination of instrument heads and diagnostic devices suitable for your clinical needs. It offers a versatile combination of multiple instrument-handles with other devices for the ultimate cost-saving, environmentally friendly system that can handle the daily rigors of hospitals and health care facilities. Instrument Handles
The two Instrument Handles included come with rheotronic® function that enables a continuously variable electronic light intensity adjustment. An automated switch on/off feature efficiently exerts the power-saving function. In addition, the Handles are made of solid metal with a chrome-plated finish that ensures outstanding durability.
Ri-spec® Ear Specula Dispenser
The Dispenser comprises five tubes for up to five specula sizes and is compatible with most Riester specula. Clear tubes design ensures easy viewing of specula. The Dispenser is easy to clean and disinfect.
LED Technology Advantages
Some Ri-scope® L Otoscope and Ophthalmoscope models are assembled with LEDs that provide numerous advantages to the user and are a great alternative to the conventional Xenon lights. Since LED lamps have an almost unlimited lifetime, they classify as maintenance-free units and their use leads to low running costs. In addition, LED lights feature the highest luminosity, heat-free performance and provide true-colors which greatly benefit the diagnosis efficiency.

EliteVue Macro-Otoscope
The EliteVue Otoscope features advanced optics that provide twice the field of view and 66% higher magnification compared to standard otoscopes. Providing a clear, without reflections, Ø 11mm field of view and 5-fold magnification, EliteVue allows for a more precise, comprehensive and even faster diagnostic greatly improving patient care and outcome. High-performance 3.5V LED light provides 4000 Kelvin for excellent illumination and natural colors. The Otoscope is assembled with a convenient focus ring that serves to adjust for variable ear canal lengths and farsighted eyes while it can also be set for default autofocus. To promote operation simplicity and lower the costs, the throat illumination is facilitated via specialized high-quality fibreoptic ring located stationary at the distal tip. The SpecEject® device allows the safe disposal of the used cannula eliminating the risks of cross-contamination and all with just a push of a button. Ophthalmoscope Options
All Ri-scope® L Ophthalmoscope models are equipped with an outstanding, high-performance optics that feature aspherical condenser lens. The specialty optics ensures reduced reflection effect, while the separation of the parallel observation and illumination beams helps avoid corneal and iris reflexes. Ri-scope® L allows precise diagnostics even with narrow pupils since the illuminated retinal area is fully visible. All Ri-scope® L models are dustproof ensuring trouble-free operation.

Optional Ri-scope® L2 Xenon/LED 3.5V Ophthalmoscope
The Ri-scope® L2 Ophthalmoscope is offered in two configurations with Xenon or LED light illumination. Both models feature an advanced dioptre wheel with a total of 29 corrective lenses that include +1-10, +12, +15, +20, +40 and -1-10, -15, -20, -25, -30, -35. The easy-to-use aperture handwheel allows switching between 6 apertures that are semi-circle, small/medium/large circle, fixation star, and slit. The filter wheel works for all apertures and has a symbol display, red-free filter, blue filter, and polarization filter.
Optional Ri-scope® L3 Xenon/LED 3.5V Ophthalmoscope
The Ri-scope® L3 Ophthalmoscope includes several advancements for even more thorough and precise eye examination. This unit is equipped with corrective lenses for 89 dioptre values that allow single-step adjustments in a Plus range of 1 to 45, and Minus range of 1 to 44. The easy-to-use aperture handwheel allows switching between 7 apertures that are semi-circle, small/medium/large circle, fixation star, grid, and slit. The filter wheel works for all apertures and has a symbol display, red-free filter, blue filter, and polarization filter. In addition, L3 Ophthalmoscope has a focusing device with zero retention force for the quick correction of ametropias.
BPM Options
Big Ben® Square Aneroid
The Big Ben® Square Aneroid features a large, high-contrast scale that measures 5.7" on all sides and ensures excellent readability. In addition, it can be horizontally swiveled at 65° to the left or to right for greater user convenience. The high-quality, extra durable device components include a non-wearing air-release valve with a fine adjustment and a micro-filter that protects the release valve and measuring system. It has a specially hardened copper-beryllium membrane that is resistant to aging. A zero-point fixation is not required. The Aneroid comes with an adult-sized, Latex-free black Velcro blood pressure Cuff which measures 21.5" x 5.7", a spacious basket, 10-foot coiled tubing, and a wall mounting plate.

Ri-Medic® Automated BP Monitor
This Riester Ri-Medic® BP Monitor is proven to be a world-class medical-grade device and is validated to British Hypertension Society, ESH and AAMI SP10 specifications for adults and children (from 3 years of age and older). The Monitor offers a one-touch operation process for the acquisition of BP measurement in automated or manual mode. It displays systolic, diastolic, heart rate and MAP readings within 30 to 40 seconds. The manual SphygMode mode features manual inflate and auto-deflate with 3 mmHg/sec and allows us to verify the automated readings without removing the cuff. This Monitor model is sold with a separate storage basket that will easily hold BP cuffs and one adult Latex-free Velcro blood pressure Cuff. A 110-240V AC, 50-60Hz, 0.6A mains power adapter is also included with the Monitor.
Thermometry Options
RPT-100 Clinical Grade Predictive Thermometer
RPT-100 is a simple in use yet highly functional clinical-grade unit designed on the base of the Covidien Filac 3000 technology. This Thermometer allows for the use of oral/axillary or rectal probes and comprises six measurement modes that include Oral Quick and Standard modes, as well as a Cold Mode for hypothermic patients. It features an 86°F to 109°F measurement range and includes Auto-On and Auto-off functions. The backlit display and last measurement recall function make temperature readings very simple.

Ri-Thermo® Infra-Red Ear-Thermometer
This Ri-thermo® Infra-Red Ear-Thermometer is a clinical-grade unit. The Thermometer is equipped with a digital display that shows temperature readings within only 1-2 seconds time in °C or in °F. It features an internal memory function with 12 readings storage capacity. This Ear-Thermometer comes with a set of 40 probe covers, probe covers dispenser and one CR2032 Battery with 1000 measurement capacity.
