Sharpoint™ PLUS Polypropylene Non-Absorbable Side Cutting Lancet Sutures, 1/8 Circle, are synthetic, inert, double armed sutures used in ophthalmic surgery.

Packaged in dry or in wetting solution, these sutures easily pass through tissue and are easy to handle. Polypropylene Sutures are equivalent to Ethicon Prolene™ and Syneture Surgipro™/ Surgipro™ II. Polypropylene is the most versatile of all monofilament sutures, and is characterized by superior smoothness, better knot security and a unique extruding technique, which ensures a uniform, round cross section.
Polypropylene Sutures are available as dyed (blue), in various sizes. Sizes 9-0 and 10-0 are used in Ophthalmic surgery, repair of small, damaged nerves and other delicate surgeries. Side cutting lancet is a spatula needle with the cutting edge on the inner or outer curvature. Available in 12 per box.
