Sharpoint™ Polypropylene Sutures consistently meet the demands of surgery professionals worldwide. Packaged in dry or in wetting solution, these sutures easily pass through tissue and are easy to handle. Polypropylene Sutures are equivalent to Ethicon Prolene™ and Syneture Surgipro™/ Surgipro™ II. It is the most versatile of all monofilament sutures, and is characterized by superior smoothness, better knot security and a unique extruding technique, which ensures a uniform, round cross section.
Polypropylene Sutures are available as dyed (blue), in various sizes. Size 2-0 is commonly used for closure of muscle layers or bowel repair. Straight cutting needles feature a straight shaft with a reverse cutting tip. Available in 12 per box.
