Poly-Coated SMS Chemotherapy Gowns from Cardinal Health are engineered to provide extensive protection against the top chemotherapy drugs. These gowns are made with high-quality poly-coated SMS fabric, have neck and waist ties, knit cuffs, and come in a sterile flat pack. They protect healthcare professionals from all the potential risks of handling chemotherapy agents.
The poly-coated material adds durability and high-level protection that other chemotherapy gowns fail to provide. However, these gowns are still lightweight, but they come complete with a closed back, secure ties and long, roomy sleeves. The SMS fabric is low-linting and helps keep the environment clean.
These chemotherapy gowns have been tested against the following drugs:
- Carmustine
- Cisplatin
- Cyclophosphamide
- Dacarbazine
- Doxorubicin Hydrochloride
- Etoposide
- Fluorouracil
- Mitomycin C

- Vincristine Sulfate
Testing with these agents was done per ASTM F739-12 and no breakthrough was observes during the total duration of the test (480 minutes)
