Covidien / Medtronic TEM1509G Parietex ProGrip Self-Fixating Mesh

Medtronic products, like the Parietex ProGrip™ Self-fixating Mesh Patches, help to provide clinicians and patients with security, patient comfort, and ease of use. Their advanced microgrip technology provides immediate fixation of the entire mesh surface. This helps to ensure effective and secure repair, as well as even distribution of tension for comfortable wound healing. These patches are specifically designed with ease of use in mind. The resorbable polylactic acid (PLA) contained on the mesh microgrips enable surgeons to position and place the mesh in under 60 seconds (without the need for additional fixation) Surgeons and patients can depend on a Medtronic and the Parietex ProGrip brand to maximize the potential for greater patient comfort, at all times.

All Parietex™ products are created from a macroporous polyester material which produces superior cellular proliferation when compared to other products that feature polypropylene mesh in vitro.
