The Welch Allyn PanOptic Ophthalmoscope and MacroView Otoscope Head Combo is a high-quality and state-of-the-art set of medical instruments designed to provide better images of retinal changes and easier visualization of the auditory canal and tympanic membrane.

Awesome Diagnostic Tool. Built with revolutionary technology, the PanOptic Ophthalmoscope addresses the fundamental challenge in ophthalmoscopy which is to get a good view of a patient's optic fundus for a more sufficient assessment. It enables the complete and hassle-free access of the inner eye and its functions. It uses the patented new Axial PointSource™ Optics Illumination System that converges the beamed light to a point at the cornea which allows the easy entry into small, undilated pupils. The illumination pathway then diverges to the retina which offers a 25º field-of-view which results in 5x larger view of the area of the fundus compared to standard ophthalmoscopes. The added Cobalt-Blue Filter and Corneal Viewing Lens enables the detection of abrasions and damages to the cornea.

Higher Magnification. Delivering almost twice the field of view at a 30% higher magnification compared to standard otoscopes, the MacroView Otoscope improves the visuals of the auditory canal and tympanic membrane. It utilizes fiber-optic technology for unheated light and unobstructed, non-reflective examination. The otoscope features a focusing wheel for variable ear canal lengths and tip grip for secure fastening and easy-release of the specula. With the option to a throat illuminator, the MacroView Otoscope expands a doctor's diagnostic capabilities and further streamlines the examination process while saving both storage space and time.
