The MJM Reclining Bath or Shower Chair is a patient-friendly chair that will make it safe and easy to transfer patients in and out of the bath and shower. It eliminates the need to transfer between chairs and prevents falls.
Convenient and Comfortable: This bath chair is manufactured from PVC and is rust proof, water-friendly, and lightweight. It fits into most tubs. Optional leg and base extensions accommodate bed transfers and an optional height-adjustable head support pad can be added for enhanced comfort.
Safe: The adjustable belt secures the patient in place and anti-slip rubber pads are used on the bottom of the seating frame when placed in a tub. The healthcare grade materials inhibit the growth of bacteria and are fast drying. All stress related areas are reinforced to ensure safety, and the new push/pull handle facilitates easy moving and transferring of patients.
Articulation: On a reclining chair, only the backrest alone can be reclined. With articulation, the seat and back can independently articulate with ease (be raised or lowered), with individual in chair - in order to maintain an appropriate seating angle

This Reclining Bath or Shower Chair comes with various options. You can choose from four sizes and three color options. There are two reclining options; one is a fixed position that adjusts from 30° - 70° reclining positions and the other is a fully adjustable articulating option. Optional bases with 3" casters allow for easy transferring between rooms. You also have an option of purchasing a head bolster for enhanced comfort.
