The Nellcor Bedside SpO2 Patient Monitoring System integrates the latest technology in digital signal processing, a standard of quality for the Nellcor product line. The Nellcor SpO2 can provide dependable and exact readings even during moments of low perfusion, continued motion, and other common types of interferences that might happen during monitoring. Thanks to this technology, the Nellcor can provide clinicians with real-time information of the patient's respiratory status, including continuous SpO2 and pulse rate monitoring.
High-performance Monitoring
This monitor comes with SatSeconds alarm management, which distinguishes between clinically important events and common events by weighing the severity and duration of every desaturation event. It also complies with IEC standards for home health equipment. The monitor is perfectly suited for non-hospital use, as well as operation by regular, non clinician users.
Accuracy and Speed
Pulse oximetry measurements of ± 2 for 70% to 100% saturation, and low saturation accuracy of ± 3 for 60% to 80%. The Nellcor SpO2 also has a faster reaction time when displaying patient oxygenation and pulse rate (compared to other monitors). For more information please see the Product Brochure.
Motion Tolerance and Smart Monitoring
Covidien technology helps the monitor to accurately assess patient status during periods of movement, noise, and other disturbances. No dropouts or delays in monitoring occur. All information is easy to read and in full color. The multiple language user interface has on-screen help messages to enhance efficiency.
The Nellcor SpO2 has an easy-to-use jog dial interface with a durable, compact design that's fully portable. The strong built-in handle makes it easy to carry and transport. It also has a variable pitch beep tone for point-by-point differentiation in SpO2 and 96-hour trend memory.
Nellcor SpO2 Adhesive Sensors
This model is accompanied by the highly-accurate SpO2 Adhesive Sensors, which feature tear-resistant bandages, and features LoSat expanded accuracy during low saturation conditions.
Nellcor pulse oximetry technology and design can help clinicians by providing SpO2 measurements that are tied to true cardiac-induced pulse and arterial oxygen saturation.
