The BD Microbore IV Extension Set is a latex-free and DEHP-free medical supply designed to provide much-needed flexibility and additional infusion capabilities to IV Infusion Instrument Sets. It comes with a slide clamp, fixed male luer lock, a standard 60" length, and a priming volume of 1mL. Each package has 100 pcs. of sterile IV extension set.

Designed for Safety: The BD Microbore IV Extension Set has a smooth, swabable surface that is easy to disinfect. This IV extension has clear, transparent connector housing for better flushing visibility and the solid sealed surface helps prevent contamination. It also has a 0.2 micron filter which removes particulates larger than 0.2 microns and virtually all fungi and bacteria.

This is often used as the final filter for air elimination in the NICU. It is recommended for use with non-lipid TPN infusions and is required when using Taxol infusions. Please be aware that Supor (Polyethersulfone) membranes, which have poor protein and drug binding properties, are present in CareFusion 0.2 micron filters.
