BD 28034E Medsystem III Infusion Set - 50/Cs

The Medsystem III Infusion Set is used by healthcare professionals to connect the Medsystem III Infusion Pump directly to the patient. This infusion device is latex-free, sterile, and is designed to ensure a patient's safety and optimal efficiency in the proper administration and withdrawal of fluids. This infusion set is available in several configurations to suit various healthcare needs. This Infusion Set is designed to have 20 drops of liquid which is equivalent to 1mL, and its length ranges from 105" to 116". 

Configuration Options 

The Medsystem III Infusion Set is available the following options: 

• 28018: Full Set, No Y-Sites, 50/cs  
• 28034: Roller Clamp, (2) Standard Injection Ports, 9", 97" (1 Above Pumping Segment and 1 Below) from 2-Piece Male Luer Lock, 20 Drops/L, 116" Length, PV 20 ml, 50/cs  
• 28080: (2) Unvented Spikes, In-Line Drip Chamber, (3) Roller Clamps, Pump Cassette, (1) Injection Y-Site, (1) Male Luer, Rotating, 200um Drip Chamber Filter, 2.7mm Bore, 20 Drops/ml, 105" Length, 30ml PV, 20/cs 

It is available with needle-free valves that allow the injection and aspiration of fluids without the use of needles.  

• 28004E: Needle-Free System, (1) SmartSite Valve Y-Ports, 25 ml PV, 20 Drops/ml, 115" Length, 50/cs 
• 28034E: Needle-Free System, (2) SmartSite Valve Y-Ports, 20 ml PV, 2.7 mm Bore, (1) Spiked Drip Chamber, Hydrophobic Air Inlet Filter w/ Cap, 20 Drops/ml, (1) Roller Clamp, Pump Cassette, (1) Male Luer, Rotating Male Luer, 116" Length, 50/cs (35 cs/plt) 
• 28293E: (2) SmartSite Needle-Free Valves 9", 96" (1 above pumping segment and 1 below), Check Valve, Roller Clamp, 2-Piece Male Luer Lock, 20 drops/L, 115" Length, 20 ml PV, 50/cs      

This option has a check valve that prevents accidental free flow, and it uses a low sorbing tubing designed to minimize the absorption of drugs such as Nitroglycerin into the matrix of tubing materials:
