BD 381347 Insyte-W Straight IV Catheter with Wings

The BD Insyte-W™ Straight IV Catheter with Wings sets a new standard when it comes to IV catheters. It features the sharp BD™ Needle technology and is fashioned with a tapered catheter tip that facilitates penetration. The Instaflash™ technology in the 20G and 22G catheters provide a visual confirmation of vassal entry to improve first-stick success.

The Insyte catheters are made with BD's Vialon™ Biomaterial that, along with the attached wings of the catheter, increases precision, convenience, and durability of the product. It is clinically proven to avoid phlebitis by up to 50% as well as catheter-related complications. It also resists kinking, and reduces indwelling time, splitting, and peelbacks.
