Early Detection. With the use of direct solid phase immunoassay technology, the Icon Mono Test Kit can qualitatively detect IM heterophile antibodies in whole blood, human serum or plasma early. This test is used for patients who have a fever, sore throat, swollen lymph glands or other symptoms that are common with a viral infection.
Accurate and Easy-to-Read Results. Combining finger-stock whole blood convenience, the Icon Mono Test Kit features EIA membrane technology which produces precise results in 3 to 8 minutes. It has a 99.9% relative sensitivity and 98.8% relative specificity for serum or plasma & 98.3% for Whole Blood Assay.
