For almost 70 years, ConMed's Hyfrecator has been physicians' number one choice for in-office electrosurgery. Hyfrecator 2000 is a multifunctional electrosurgical generator, designed to provide clinics with years of precise, reliable and safe electrosurgical practice.
Choice of modes: The Hyfrecator 2000 has applications in dermatology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, gynecology, dental and oral surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, proctology and urology. A wide variety of procedures requires different modes and power capabilities. To facilitate this, the Hyfrecator system has two seperate output terminals: High and Low output. The high output terminal is designed for heavy dessication, and procedures which require high intensity fulguration, and provides broad arcs of high voltage current. The low output terminal allows input control to 1/10 of a watt, and has been designed for light dessigation and low intensity fulguration - procedures which require low, controlled intensity and higher precision. Hyfrecator offers monopolar and bipolar modes, facilitating a wide range of procedures.
State of the art technology: Hyfrecator 2000 has three programmable power settings, allowing surgeons to save their preferred power settings into the system's memory. It also features dual micrprocessors: one controls the ESU's function and output, while the second monitors the system and terminates activity if a hazard or safety issue is detected. The system also features self-diagnostics, should any system errors occur.
Easy to use: This electrosurgical generator has several features designed to enable simple, stress-free use. The system includes a remonte controlled handpiece, which allows surgeons to change the power settings from within the sterile operating field, helping to decrease procedure time. It also includes a handswitch pencil with a 10 foot cord, allowing for flexibility and maneuverability. Hyfrecator 2000 comes with a host of accessories necessary for successful electrosurgery, including sharp and blunt Electrolase tips, and sterile and non-sterile sheaths.
