The EZE-VAC 2.0 system consists of a clear canister, a lid and a set of plugs for inlet and outlet ports. The lid attaches firmly to the canister. A proper seal ensures greater vacuum power and minimizes the risk of spills and leakage. The lid also has a set of integrated plugs that can be used to close all the openings and ports before disposal.
The canister itself is made of a clear material and has easy-to-read volume markings to make it effortless for the care providers to know when it is full. A large patient label on the side makes documentation very easy. On the patient port, that works as an inlet for the fluids, there is a reflex protector to reduce contamination exposure risk. A special VAC-GARD shutoff valve includes a 0.3 Micron bacterial eliminating filter that is effective in removing 99.9% of pseudomonas. EZE-VAC 2.0 also features an anti-foaming emulsion that prevents froth formation and aerosolization, reducing the risk of contaminant exposure while maximizing fluid capacity.
